Ms. Guzmán is known as much for her family name and musical success as for her wild personality and dramatic live performances. But this time, it's not the rocker's crazy antics onstage that are getting people talking. It's that she had a cosmetic procedure on her derriére, but (no pun intended) with disastrous consequences.

The singer was hospitalized last week with a severe infection from the unknown substance which had been injected into her posterior . As the local press reported on her hospitalization, there was much speculation as to what had occured and even inaccurate reports that claimed she had lost her life from the infection.

This led to accusations of malpractice by the director of the clinic where Guzmán had been initially treated, as other clients stepped forward, also claiming they too had suffered complications from procedures that also went awry. The clinic's director was arrested this week as the story continued unfolding.
